2012: A Year in Review
Keywest is pleased to report another year of growth and success. As a team, Keywest had another year of fun and philanthropy.
Keywest opened 141 projects in 2012 and expanded our project territory into several other areas in Alberta, NE B.C. and Saskatchewan. One of our highlighted projects is the successful startup of the first of two phases of a 100 MMscfd gas plant in the Altares region of B.C.
Keywest also had an enjoyable year with our annual golf tournament, Christmas party and various social events. The company softball and soccer teams placed second in their leagues, and the dodgeball team came to an underdog victory in their fall season. Employees also had fun while raising $8,561 for the United Way, which was matched by Keywest for a total contribution of $17,122. They also collected 420 lbs of food for the Calgary Food Bank, raised $3,010 for Movember, donated blood and participated in the United Way’s Day of caring, by building a playground in a Tuscany, Calgary. On top of that, Keywest and its employees donated over $5,900 to various charities including Calgary Firefighters Burn Treatment Society, Cystic Fibrosis Canada, the Alberta Cancer Foundation, the Calgary Police Association and the Children’s Cottage Society.
Keywest expanded into the 15th floor of our building, and continues recruitment and mentoring of young professionals. The first Keywest town hall meeting exemplified Keywest’s industry leading performance and conveyed a bright outlook for the future of Keywest.
In 2013, Keywest is looking forward to growing a newly started Upstream Projects Group, commencing new gas plant projects in NE B.C. and Alberta, expanding our office space, and continuing to share in our clients’ success.
