Perry Jasson P.Eng.

Perry Jasson Mr. Perry Jasson is President and Founder of Keywest Projects and has over 30 years of industry experience. Perry is a proven leader and team builder with over 15 years as a business partner in the EPCM sector and over 10 years as a Director of both public and private corporations.

Perry obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Manitoba and is registered as a Professional Engineer in Alberta, BC, and Saskatchewan.

During, and outside of work, Perry is passionate about giving back to the community. He is a big supporter of the United Way and other charities, encouraging those around him to participate in a number of campaign events and activities.

Stewart Nichols P.Eng.

Stewart Nichols Stewart Nichols, P. Eng. Is the Vice President of Engineering and a Principal at Keywest. With over 28 years of relevant experience in heat exchangers, separation, gas compression, cryogenic and conventional gas refrigeration, fractionation, liquids storage and handling, gathering systems, utility systems, controls, commissioning, start-ups and training.

Advocating success through teamwork, Stewart has held leading roles on complex projects and various sizes of operational and capital projects with  EPCM, midstream and owner organizations. In addition to hundreds of small and mid-size oil and gas projects; Stewart’s extensive process design experience has directly influenced Keywest successfully delivering 2.9 BCFD of Pre-FEED design work and 560mmscfd of online gas processing capacity.

Being directly involved in most of the larger facility commissioning and start-up activities has resulted in a solid full life cycle understanding of plant design and operations, delivering a high quality product at industry leading cost metrics and aggressive on-stream timelines.

Stewart is actively involved in charitable efforts undertaken by Keywest and is a registered member of APEGA, APEGS, APEGBC.

Shane Fry C.E.T., PMP

Shane Fry Mr. Shane Fry, is our Director of Projects with over 20 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry. In this role he provides leadership and direction to the major projects team.

His expertise in Project Leadership and Management coupled with his approach to building productive working relationships have contributed to success.

Shane is a certified Mechanical Engineering Technologist (CET) and also holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) designation. Shane maintains professional memberships with both ASET and PMI.

Ivan Kolevski P.Eng., Econ.

Ivan Kolevski Mr. Ivan Kolevski has over 30 years of experience in EPC, EPCM and operations in the oil and gas industry domestically and internationally. He brings expertise in Corporate and Business development, Project Economics, Project Management, Project Services and Risk Analysis.

Ivan is the Director of Special Projects and he supports Keywest’s planning and implementation of key organizational and strategic initiatives.

Ivan has graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Science degree In Mechanical Engineering. He has a strong academic foundation with a Bachelor of Commerce degree as an Economist.

Richard Piche PMP

Richard Piche Mr. Richard Piche has an infectious level of enthusiasm that has contributed to the ongoing success of Keywest. Since joining Keywest in 2014, Richard has been integral in shaping our Projects teams while progressing into his current role: Vice President of Corporate Development.

Richard holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) designation along with over 35 years of Project, Construction, and Operations Management. His ability to motivate and build effective relationships has afforded him opportunities where he has successfully managed projects in Canada and internationally in countries such as Indonesia, Poland, India and Kuwait.

Richard is an admired advocate of the Métis Nation of Alberta, serves on the Board of Directors at the Apeetogosan (Métis) Development Inc. and Métis Entrepreneurship Found and recently received two awards for his volunteering and support within the Métis community.,. Richard continues to support the Métis Nation with their pursuits in both education and economic growth initiatives. He has been instrumental in implementing the Métis employment services to Keywest Projects, supporting our efforts in diversity.

Sam Chui P.Eng.

Sam Chui Mr. Sam Chui has over 10 years of industry experience and is the Manager of our Facilities Project Engineering group. He has also worked as a Project Engineer, Engineering Manager and Project Manager of various projects at Keywest. Sam has gained the trust of his clients by consistently managing projects and leading the Keywest team in a way that adds value to the client and delivers a quality result rivaling the very best in the industry.

Sam’s passion lies in developing long term relationships with his clients externally and his team internally, establishing a foundation of trust with both. He consistently provides sensible project management and responsive care to the clients he serves. This is evidenced as Sam has helped to expand the scope, responsibility and project size completed for long term clients of Keywest.

Sam obtained his Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Mechanical Engineering, with distinction, from the University of Calgary. Sam is also a professional engineer registered with APEGA, APEGBC and APEGS.
