Perry Jasson P.Eng.
Mr. Perry Jasson is President, CEO, Chairman & Founder of Keywest Projects with over 35 years of industry experience. Perry is a proven leader, mentor, and team builder with 25 years as a business partner in the EPCM sector and over 20 years as a director of both public and private corporations.
Perry obtained his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Manitoba and is registered as a Professional Engineer in Alberta.
During, and outside of work, Perry is passionate about giving back to the community. He is a big supporter of the United Way, Ovarian Cancer Canada, CEEA (Canadian Energy Executive Association) and other non-profits and charities, inspiring those around him to participate in campaign events and activities.
Stewart Nichols P.Eng.
Stewart Nichols, P. Eng. Is the Vice President of Engineering and a Principal at Keywest. With over 28 years of relevant experience in heat exchangers, separation, gas compression, cryogenic and conventional gas refrigeration, fractionation, liquids storage and handling, gathering systems, utility systems, controls, commissioning, start-ups and training.
Advocating success through teamwork, Stewart has held leading roles on complex projects and various sizes of operational and capital projects with EPCM, midstream and owner organizations. In addition to hundreds of small and mid-size oil and gas projects; Stewart’s extensive process design experience has directly influenced Keywest successfully delivering 2.9 BCFD of Pre-FEED design work and 560mmscfd of online gas processing capacity.
Being directly involved in most of the larger facility commissioning and start-up activities has resulted in a solid full life cycle understanding of plant design and operations, delivering a high quality product at industry leading cost metrics and aggressive on-stream timelines.
Stewart is actively involved in charitable efforts undertaken by Keywest and is a registered member of APEGA, APEGS, APEGBC.
Steve Huitema P.Eng.
Mr. Steve Huitema, P.Eng, initially joined Keywest Projects in 2014 initially as Director of Quality Assurance. His experience and leadership skills progressed him to his current role of Director of Engineering where he is accountable for the management and direction of the engineering discipline functions as well as coordinating engineering design and drafting resources to support projects. He is also currently responsible for the on-going Quality Assurance of Keywest.
Steve obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Calgary and is registered as a Professional Engineer in Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan. He brings 30 years’ of experience in the oil and gas industry. Steve has previously held other Senior Leadership and Management roles within the EPCM.
Darryl Bleile P.Eng.
Mr. Darryl Bleile is our Manager of Projects. He has over 20 years’ of experience in the oil and gas industry and obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Distinction) from the University of Calgary in 1997. His work has included the detailed design of facilities, project management, and overall project coordination. He is a motivated and energetic manager that can adapt to varying client needs and systems, or introduce new and unique solutions to enhance project success. By understanding the balance between cost, schedule and quality, Darryl can help clients tailor the engineering deliverables needed to complete a project. Not only has Darryl completed many successful projects during his career, but he is also looked upon to provide by other engineers at Keywest with mentorship and guidance.”
Sam Chui P.Eng.
Mr. Sam Chui has over 20 years of industry experience and is the Manager of Projects. He has also worked from the perspective of a Mechanical Engineer, Project Engineer, Project Engineering Manager and a Project Manager. Sam has gained the trust of his clients by consistently managing projects and leading the Keywest team in a way that spells success for the end-user and delivers industry leading results for the project stakeholders.
Sam’s passion lies in developing long term relationships; both with his clients externally and with his team internally. This approach has established a foundation of trust and teamwork, where the whole team is contributing to a timely project completion. As a result, Sam has helped to expand the scope & responsibility of many clients, making them long term repeat clients of Keywest.
Sam obtained his degree in Mechanical Engineering, with distinction, from the University of Calgary. Sam is also a professional engineer registered with APEGA, EGBC and intermittently with APEGS.
