A Sampling of Our Projects
Facility Expansion
Keywest completed a major facility expansion for a loyal client in Northeast BC. The plant processes gas for separation, condensate stabilization, compression, dehydration, and export.
The project tripled the facility’s throughput. New equipment included sales compressors with waste heat recovery, a hot oil package, dehydrator, coalescer filter, tanks, instrument air, and power generation. Retrofits were also completed for existing systems like the slug catcher, stabilizer, VRU, and flare systems. Keywest handled detailed engineering, procurement, and home office construction management and the project finished ahead of schedule and under budget.
Facility Expansion
Sour Gas Plant
Keywest delivered a new 400 MMSCFD sour gas facility in Northeast BC. The plant handles gas separation, stabilization, compression, and pipeline export. Installed systems included amine sweetening, refrigeration, stabilization, de-butanization, VRU recovery, and storage for LPG and condensate. The site uses turbine power generation with waste heat recovery to support utilities. Keywest was responsible for detailed engineering, procurement, construction management, and commissioning support and the project was delivered on time and under budget by our Major Projects team.
Sour Gas Plant
Deep Cut / Cryogenic Gas Plant
Keywest designed and built a 230 MMSCFD deep cut gas plant in Central Alberta. The facility maximizes C3+ liquids recovery and reliability. Key equipment included turbo expander refrigeration, sales and residue compression, stabilization, and storage for HVP and condensate. Special utilities included cryogenic and HP flare systems and a grid power connection. Scope included pre-FEED, regulatory, FEED, detailed engineering, procurement, construction management, and commissioning and both phases of construction were completed on time and under budget by our Major Projects team.

Emissions Reduction Retrofit
Keywest supported an emissions reduction upgrade at a 400 MMSCFD sour gas facility in Northeast BC. The project added a VRU and acid gas compressor system to reduce GHG emissions. Tie-ins and control integration with the existing incinerator kept the backup system in place while upgrading operations. Keywest completed engineering, procurement, and construction management and the project was delivered on schedule and under budget by our brownfield team.
