At Keywest Projects, Safety is a core value and integral to how we operate our business.
As we continue to live through this ever evolving COVID19 pandemic. Keywest would like to provide an update to our clients, our employees and our community as we have taken the necessary measures to ensure the Health and Safety of all stakeholders.
Safety is ALWAYS first at Keywest.
This is why we ensure that every policy, every plan and every action we take we consider the health and safety of our people.
How Keywest is Operating?
Keywest has created a systematic and measured approach to safely, effectively and efficiently deal with this unprecedented pandemic.
Effective and Current Communications
Communication within Keywest is absolutely critical during this time. Leading up to and through COVID19, Keywest communicates updates to all stakeholders to implement precautionary measures. We are issuing daily and weekly communications as developing information is presented to Keywest. This includes Office Property Management, Government and Canadian Health and Safety Board updates.
Business Continuation
Yes we are open for business! Project support is ongoing and new projects are welcome. Keywest is committed to project execution throughout this period. We have created measures to ensure that projects continue to progress and to minimize schedule delays and on-site construction impacts.
Keywest Offices
Keywest offices have remained open so far, though most of our staff are working remotely. We have restricted access to some of our floors, and have closed reception, to encourage the practice of social distancing.
To ensure the safety of our employees, we have also increased our cleaning schedules and have strategically placed several hand sanitizer stations in order to prevent the spread of germs.
Working from Home
Keywest has the critical infrastructure to ensure business continuity. Our IT team continues to update our remote access software enabling all employees to work from home during the self-isolation period. Our entire company is set up for online video, screen sharing and conference calling through programs such as Microsoft Teams, Skype and Zoom. This practice is encouraged by our leadership.
EAP/ 24-7 Support
Keywest understands the emotional toll that this period can have on an individual. For this reason, we have provided our employees with support programs and 24-7 call numbers to help with the feelings of anxiety, stress and a variety of emotions.
On a personal note, we want to give thanks and gratitude to all those working on the front lines through this pandemic. Thank you to everyone who are putting themselves at risk so we can continue to live a somewhat normal life.
In conclusion, Keywest will continue to follow the direction of our government, building guidelines and ensure that all safety steps are taken in order to maintain the health and safety of ALL stakeholders. We are all in this together and thank everyone for their continuous support.
